Human-centered design starts with fostering empathy to understand the needs and perspectives of the employees who will ultimately be using or impacted by the design. It prioritizes the voices and needs of employees to guide the innovation process and formulate impactful and enduring solutions. In essence, employees become part of the solution and change. They see their voice is being heard and that they have an impact. Instead of something happening to them, it is happening for them.
